Welcome to the South Shore Mothers of Multiples Club! As we are sure you already know, having multiples is a joyous as well as an exhausting experience. The purpose of this club is to offer you an opportunity to gain some help through other’s experiences, to have a support system when needed, to relax for a few hours each month and to have a good time. Our club offers the following:
- General meetings which are held on a monthly basis from September through June. Meetings include snacks, time for socializing, and time for updates on club events and business. Some general meetings are fun with the emphasis on mixing and getting to know new friends and catching up with old friends, some are informative with a speaker on a topic of interest and some are open forum with time for lots of discussion about the issues that are unique to multiples.
- A semi-annual clothing sale that is open to Mothers of Multiples first and then to the general public.
- An annual FUNdraiser is held each year (last year we had a Stuffing Station fundraiser that the kids made stuffed animals) that helps to offset the costs of running the club and provides an avenue to introduce your family and friends to the club and to other mothers of multiples.
- Many fun parties and events for mothers and their families to get to know other sets of multiples. Social events include apple picking, and Christmas parties, bowling during spring vacation week, trips to the police station etc.
- A library of helpful books and publications which are available on loan at the General Meeting each month.
- A monthly newsletter, which is packed with loads of information about club events, tips for busy and/or overwhelmed MOMs and other useful information.
